Τελευταίο Haul πριν το Spending Ban + 1 σούπερ tip !

Εγώ αποφάσισα να σταματήσω για κάποιο καιρό τα ψώνια (σοκ – και – δέος!)

Τουλάχιστον τις αγορές μου στα καλλυντικά. Εχω υπερβολικά πολλά, απο τα οποία καταλήγω κάποια να μην τα χρησιμοποιω καθόλου (θα λήξουν, θα στεγνώσουν, θα χαλάσουν, θα κλαίω που τα πετάω, θα κλαίω τα λεφτά μου που δεν τα χρησιμοποίησα, κ.ο.κ.).

Αποφάσισα λοιπόν οτι πέρα απο τα πινέλα Real techniques που πρέπει να πάρω, δεν σκοπεύω να πάρω κάτι αν δεν μου τελειώσει, και αν δεν είναι υπερ-αναγκαίο (όπως πχ. Τοmmy G keratine base – δες παρακάτω).

Τι πήρα λοιπόν τους τελευταίους 1-2 μήνες:

 Essence σκιά – shirmp me up

Υπέροχη πορτοκαλoκοραλί σκιά που ταιριάζει με τα πρασινογκριζωπά και μπιρμπιλωτά μάτια μου τώρα το καλοκαίρι. Για αυτή την αγορά φταίει η Μαίρη απο το toothfairy’s beauty tales

Essence all about matt!

Γιατί η μαμά μου μου έκλεψε την προηγούμενη όταν ανακάλυψε το μαγικό του να μένεις ματ και να μην ιδρώνεις και αν μπορείς να φοράς μακιγιάζ και το καλοκαίρι ( που ζει? )

Skinfood Salmon Dark Cirle Concealer και Missha concealer: 

Δυο concealer απο Κορεάτικες εταιρίες, που έχω ήδη λατρέψει. Σύντομα θα κάνω μια παρουσίαση για όλα τα Κορεάτικα προϊόντα που έχω αγοράσει.

 Δύο αγορές που έκανα απο το e-bay και με απογοητεύσανε. Η ποιότητα τους είναι καλή (και ας φαίνονται πατικωμένα, ήταν συμπιεσμένα στο φάκελο,  δεν τα έχω χρησιμοποιήσει καθόλου). 

Ηθελα μπεζοκαφέ πορτοφόλι και τσάντα. Το πορτοφόλι ήρθε σε ένα σκατουλί χρωμα (όχι πολύ διαφορετικό απο την φώτο του πωλητή όμως)  , και η τσάντα σε ένα ΕΝΤΕΛΩΣ διαφορετικό απο αυτό που φαίνεται, ένα  καμελομουσταρδί ! Ανοιξα dispute για την τσάντα! Απαράδεκτο! Θα βρείτε την τσάντα εδώ και το πορτοφόλι εδώ

ΚΕΜ πορτοφολάκι φρούτο !

Το είδα σε μια φίλη μου και το λάτρεψα. Ντάξει, 20€ για ένα πορτοφόλι ψιλών δεν είναι λίγα αλλα είναι τόσο υπέροχο ! ♥

Ηθελα να δοκιμάσω αν είναι τόσο καλό όσο ακούω..Seche Vite δεν είναι πάντως.

Jumbo nail remover

Δεν είχα δοκιμάσει αυτής της μορφής το ασετόν, και πριν δώσω πάνω απο 8 ευρουδάκια για το maybelline, ήθελα να δω αν με βολεύει . Μόνο 1.5€!

Ακόμα ένα Κορεάτικο προϊόν, αυτή τη φορά ένα μολύβι για τα φρύδια!

Zara chocolate!

Αρωματάκι απο τα Zara, σε μορφή roll-on.

Είναι πολύ γερής κατασκευής και μυρίζει σούπερ!

Εχετε νύχια που σπάνε εύκολα? Αφήστε τα multivitamine boost και τις πανάκριβες θεραπείες. Αυτό το πραγματάκι ( και οποιαδήποτε βάση με κερατίνη ) θα σας σώσει!

Βάζετε ανα δευτερη μέρα στα νύχια μια στρώση, είτε μόνο του, είτε με κανονικό μανό απο πάνω.

Αν το κάνετε αυτό, μέσα σε 3 βδομάδες τα νύχια σας θα είναι πέτρα! 

Γιατι κερατίνη ?

Το νύχια ουσιαστικά αποτελούνται απο στρώματα κερατίνης!

Οπως αν τα λιμάρεις πολύ απο πάνω (και αφαιρέσεις καποια στρώματα) γίνονται υπερβολικά ευθραυστά, έτσι τότε, ενισχύοντας τα με την πρωτεϊνη της κερατίνης, τα κάνεις πιο σκληρά!

Best of 2012 – Yearly favorites

Hello my beautiful ladies ♥

This is an English post. If you want it in Greek, or you prefer Greek instead (in general) please let me know. I just haven’t decided what to do yet.So, depends on the mood.

This post is not exactly as the 12 of 2012 tag, its more like the yearly favorites mixed with ”best of”.

(And yes, the products are placed in my PAOK blanket)

Face:

Foundation : It was a very tough decision between  Revlon Colorstay and Dermablend from Vichy. I love them both. I’ll choose dermablend though, because I hate the package of Revlon. It makes a mess every time. Plus, just a tiny bit from Vichy, its enough and make wonders 🙂

Primer (eye primer, coz I m still searching for a good , face primer ): Jordana.It’s not that I don’t like ELF, I really do, but I prefer the Jordana because it covers the flaws in the eyelid, and its not watery, quite thick actually (too thick for some, maybe)

Lipstick: MAC’s Fast Play.. Its a fresh love ♥. But its a lovely MLBB color, with great staying power. What more to ask?

Eyeshadows : Naked 2 ! I still had a hard time choosing between this and Oh-so-special, but I m a little more obsessed with Naked 2 lately, so…

Mascara : After learning that Stilleto (maybelline) is discontinued, I can’t find a mascara that ”I love”.  No ”awards” for Mascara, I guess. Magnifibres is something I am obsessed with, but its not exactly a mascara.

Blush: Is it possible to NOT pick Sleek? Sunrise is my absolute love. I used it a lot in the summer, plus as a bronzer the rest of the year. Amazing quality, I m gonna purchase some more Sleek 🙂

Also, Seventeen’s highlighter, which I recently won in the lottery of Stoxos event (with BBloggers, I am gonna write about it soon), is honorary mentioned, though I only use it for a month, but I use it everyday.

Powder : Elf’s mineral booster. I have said it before, I don’t what is about, but its amazing. I use it instead of face poder

Eyeliner : Essence! Best tip, great staying power, cheap price 🙂

Eyebrows: Always , ELF’s brow kit. I just can’t live without it

Lip liner : Lovie, in the natural tone. Cheap, good and perfect lip color.

Lip balm: Reve De Miel, by Nuxe. My new love. Lovely smell, not greasy, and works. I will review soon.

Body:

Body: The Body Shop Ginger(-something) ! I just can’t get enough of how amazing it smells. I love it ! I always love the vibrant smell of Body Shop’s body creams , and I own many of them already (Strawberry, Lemon, Peach, Coconut,etc). but this is amazing. Sadly, its only available in Xmas, so I spend it very carefully!
Nails: I won’t chose a nail polish, even though there are many I love. But I couldn’t do anything without Tommy G, Keratin base. I have tried any type of bases, multivitamin polishes, strengtheners, but NOTHING works out like Keratin. If you have soft nails, try applying every 2 days , and in about 3 weeks, you ll see the magic. I have to shorten my nails every now and then, while in the past, they did shorten  themselves by breaking .

Hair: Vatika Coconut oil. Nuff said.

Hands: Bioten intensive cream with Honey and Macademia oil. Not only it moisturizes without getting greasy, but also it smells fantastic, and costs a little more than 2.5€ !!!Nothing to be jealous from expensive ones, and defenately better than the infamous Cera Di cupra.

2013 is near, so I m taking the chance to wish all of you to have a wonderful new Year. Things are hard in my country these moments, so let’s cross our fingers and hope everything goes smooth for all of us, and you 🙂 Enjoy ♥

Haul-άκι Δεκεμβρίου

Γειά σας beauties!

Να μαι πάλι με ένα ποστ για τα πρόσφατα μου haul, ή αλλιώς ένα collective haul!

Kάποια hondo-πραγματάκια , lovie (σύνταγμα), απο ευρωμάγαζα, και απο το beautyjoint, την blackfriday, που είχε -20%

  

Απο το beautyjoint πήρα το τα 4 απο τα 5 πάνω αριστερά (εκτός την essence σκιά) και το κραγιόν της Nyx. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, Jordana blush – coral sandy beach, Jordana brow shadow – brunnete, Wet n Wild – Brule , Jordana eyeshadow over the taupe και Nyx – Black cherry!

Τα μεταφορικά είναι πάντα ένα θέμα στο Beautyjoint, γιαυτό είμαι προσεκτική στο τι θα πάρω, και πόσο θα μου βγεί. Αυτή τη φορά ήταν 5-6 δολλάρια, αλλα δεν πήρα και πολλά πράγματα..

Απο τα Hondos πήρα την κρέμα της bioten, το μανό της essense (out of the forest), την σκιά της essence – for fairies, το eyeliner της essence 100% splash proof λέει (δεν ξέρω τον τίτλο του), και το μολύβι της erre due lasting contour eye #2.

Απο ευρωμάγαζα  και  lovie πήρα το μακρόστενο κραγιόν #21, και το κοντόχοντρο #20, καθώς και 2 μολύβια της glamourous, περισσότερο γιατί ήθελα να δοκιμάσω αν μου πάνε τα συγκεκριμένα χρώματα ! Το #8 και το #41, Οπως και ένα μανό. Νομίζω είναι το #33.

 

Jordana brow – brunette / Wet and Wild – Brule / Jordana blush , Coral Sandy beach

Λένε οτι το Brule της WnW είναι dupe του Brulee της Mac

Essence – for fairies / Jordana – over the taupe / Essence eyeliner.

Πάλι, λέγεται οτι το over the taupe είναι dupe απο το Satin Taupe της Mac

 

Ενα mini swatch σε κάποια απο αυτά:

Black cherry->Lovie (20)->(21) -> Erre Due ->glam (21)->(8) ->Essence -> Coral Sandy beach 

Τέλος, έτσι γιατί μαρέσαν και ας μην έχουν σχέση με τα καλλυντικά, κάτι γοβες που πήρα πάμφθηνες απο τα Blanco 

 

Αυτά! Τέλος οι αγορές για φέτος (ελπίζω!)

E.l.f Haul and Essence mini Haul

Hello beauties!

How are you?

Here I come with another haul. I -again- bought some Elf goodies online (3rd time since January) and some Essence from Hondos Center.

(I couldn’t stop myself. They re-stocked items after a looooong time!)

(These will be the last for a period of time, since I m currently looking for a job (so I can have an income to.. spend). That’s why I only invested in cheaper but good cosmetics like Elf. Not that I won’t buy them later,too … High price doesn’t not always equal quality, neither the opposite. I m very please with almost all their products.)

So, here is what I got.

Let’s look them one by one, and I will also do some swatches/reviews for some, if you have a request, I would be happy to listen!

This is Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in Luminance. Its a wonderful highlighter to use right above your cheekbones

It has shimmer in it, though its not visible in the photo.

This is lengthening & defining mascara in black. Pretty decent mascara for only 1.5 pounds

 

The following is one of the most popular items from Elf, the eyelid primer in sheer. Finally, found it available!!! YAY

 

This is an ELF lipstick in shade charming (I also got a Voodoo backup)

 

Here is the all-over cover stick in Apricot Beige (fair)

 

Here is the blush and bronzer compact kit

Mineral Booster in Sheer

 

And here is the eye-brow kit in dark (that I already LOOOOOOVE )

 

I also bought 2 brushes. The Studio powder brush and the smudge brush. The powder brush was a bit pressed in the package, so the shape is kinda squeezed and not round.

January Haul… almost!

Hello All!

Here are the last things I got…. Not exactly bought all of them, since 3 were presents…

3 Nyx Jumbo eye pencils, 1 eye primer from essence,  a clinique lipstick and a powder?(?) , 2 Nyx round lipsticks, 1 Nyx black label lipstick, a clarins lipstick and a Nyx cream blush…

More specifically…

Clinique whatever powder, at Peony. To be honest I m not sure if its a blush or a eyeshadow or both. I use it as eyeshadow,and it’s cute. Its was a gift in a Greek magazine, together with the lipstick.

Nyx’s cream blush in Golden .I  just tried a bit with a brush, that’s why the surface looks so mewahhhhh….

An eye-primer from essence… So cheap and cute … (haven’t tried it,yet)

 

Nyx round lipsticks in Iconic and Decadent.

Iconic is very similar to Minimalism and it’s a beautiful shade (I m gonna swatch soon). Decadent is my dissapointment. I wanted to order a dark cherry red, but turned out to be….very dark :S

Nyx Black Label in Bling. A very nicely MLBB color 🙂 Love it already ! (Gonna swatch it soon as well)

Clinique’s lipstick in Rosette. This was a full sized lipstick, the other gift from the magazine. The color is very nice BUT… have some gold shimmer in it. In the photo, is not very obvious but in reality it is. And doesn’t look good to my lips…

This is Clarins Jolie Rouge. Its not a full size one ( I guess), I was given that by a friend. Its a gorgeous bright red… which I haven’t tried.. And I am afraid to…

These are the infamous Nyx Jumbo eye pencils in (L-t-R) Yogurt, French Fries and Milk.

Sorry, this post might be boring , but I can’t do swatches atm. The weather is bad, so the lighting is unfair to the photos. Plus, I got a new camera and I haven’t learn to use it well yet.

Nyx ( Heather and Frappucino) and Essence (all about cupcake) lipstick swatches.

Well well well…..

I would like to thank all of my followers, who little by little are growing in numbers 🙂 Thank you very much! ♥

So.. Yesterday I went to Hondos Center (kind of Greek version of Sephora – more popular in Greece than Sephora- ) to buy a nail polish of my fave brand seventeen.

Something caught my eye, and was a cosmetics stand of the German brand ”essence”. Essence is super cheap, with okay quality. I first saw it 3 years ago to a (business)  trip I had to Germany. It had some football matches so colleauges were watching football and I decided to go shopping instead. I bought some nail polishes and lipglosses back then. I remember loving the polishes 🙂

So, I got my self an eyeshadow base, a lipstick (around 2.5€) , a nail polish and a dry-fast nail drops (yes, it IS useless but anyway)….

Together with Nyx’s Heather and Frappucino, I am going to swatch essence’s no #53 ”All about cupcake”.

This time my photos are very -very crappy, my camera is old, and probably in its last days,too… Its only 6mP . I have it for like .. 5 years !!!

Here are the lipsticks in natural light

   

Here is Nyx’s Frappucino:

 

Frappucino is an orangy-pink-brown-nude whatever color… Its a best seller, but its not MY color.

Its not that is bad, with certain make-up will actually look better, but its not that its my favorite either. Its not because of the color itself, but because of MY colors.

I am very pale myself (NC20) and very ”deadly-white”, too. You know, my cheeks are never naturally blushed, my undertones are yellow,etc….

Here is Nyx’s Heather :

This color is very-very creamy. Its so much creamy that seems like shimmering while it is not.

I was kinda dissapointed on Heather to be honest . I thought it was a natural color , on the purple side (which it is ), and it looks great in the photos but …

…..Its not that  flattering in reality.

It seems ”fake” in lips (do I make sense?) , and makes teeth look more yellow. Maybe its not flattering to me though, I don’t know..

And here is Essence’s All about cupcake. (last photo is my bare lips)

    

Its sheer.Very sheer. It gives you that pinky-natural color, but its almost like wearing a lip balm. Compared to my bare lips, it gives just a pinky glimpse of color.

It has a nice smell which I can’t really tell what it is, but a bit ”cheap-quality” packaging, though its a modern-looking packaging…

Bottom line?… Hm, I don’t know. I can’t really tell about ”All about cupcake” since It gives only a little color. No negative thoughts for sure.. But I.. don’t know..
